Function description – Temperature control
Addressing
Enter a description to help identify the probe, for example the name of the room where it is installed
The probe can be used as a Master or a Slave probe in a MyHOME system (in case of Slave probe, only enter the address of the Master probe the Slave probe must be associated to)
Set the type of system: heating, cooling, or both
Enter the ID code found on the device (the ID will appear automatically if the device is included in the project using the Bus Scanner function)
Enter the system address of the probe (1 to 99)
Up to 9 slave probes can be assigned to a master probe, enter their number here
Type of system
Select the type of hydraulic system (depending the device installed and the type of control) among the ones in the list
Actuators and pumps
In this field add the actuators for the zone valves that will be managed by the probe, indicating the number (1 to 9) and the function
The same setting must also be completed for the circulation pumps
There is also the possibility of setting the delay for the activation of the pumps, separated for heating and cooling
Set point
You can set three temperature set points, both for cooling and heating
The factory settings are the following:
Heating
Cooling
Comfort
21 °C
25 °C
Eco
18 °C
28 °C
Antifreeze
07 °C
Thermal protection
35 °C
If configured to operate only as probe part of a MyHOME temperature control system, the thermostat receives the main set-points from the central unit (temperature set-point, summer/winter set-point, etc.).
However, it is locally still possible to switch from normal mode to Comfort, ECO, Antifreeze/Thermal protection modes.
The setting of a manual temperature set-point is possible, but it is only temporary, as it will only last until the next set-point change sent by the central unit
General settings
Enabling of MODE pushbutton to switch from summer to winter mode directly from the room (hotel function only)
Enabling of the backlight of the display in standby
Setting of the unit of measure for the temperature
In systems with fan-coil it is possible to set the fan-coil activation delay both for heating and cooling
Regulation band
The probe has a basic tolerance setting in relation to the set point defined (hysteresis); this tolerance value can be changed with values between 0.1° and 0.5°; increasing the value will increase the tolerance in relation to the set point, but the switching on and off frequency will be reduced
With systems with fan-coil it is possible to also set the temperature deviation that will cause the change of the speed of the fan-coil
Remote contact
The local contact of the probe gives the possibility of causing changes to the current system status; the typical example of this would be the heating switching off when a window is open.
You can use one of the basic settings (Summer, Autumn, Winter), or create a customised setting (Customised), selecting the action to perform when a contact is opened or closed, the delay of the action, and also its duration
